Raffaella Crespi , born in Milan on February 27, 1929, graduated in architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 1955, a time when the type of design that we still identify today as Italian "know-how" was born. She began her career in planning. In 1969 she obtained her teaching qualification and in 1980 she became a professor of Architectural Technology and Industrial Design until 2001. Raffaella was one of the founders of the Industrial Design Association, the magazine "Italia Nostra," and the "Terragni Foundation of Como." From 1973 to 1977, Raffaella served as president of the Order of Architects of the province of Milan, a position held for the first time by a woman.
