Zalszupin - Coffee table, side table, 1960s design, Chancellor model in rosewood.
Measurements: W80 x D80 x H37 cm. Unique piece.
A vintage Brazilian modern design coffee table, the square Chanceler model, created by Jorge Zalszupin and produced by L'Atelier in the 1960s. The square rosewood top, with a solid edging and veneered surface, features characteristic grain and a refined finish typical of pieces from that period. The structure consists of a central black metal column supporting an "X" shaped base, also in metal, a typical combination of the industrial design language adopted by Zalszupin in his side and executive tables.
This piece stands out for its balanced proportions, structural stability, and use of fine materials. It is an authentic and rare piece , an original from its period and not a reissue, representative of L'Atelier's production and Zalszupin's most significant period in Brazilian furniture design.
